Which course should I study first?
There are three My IELTS Classroom courses for both Academic and General Training students: Task 1, Task 2 and IELTS Grammar. How you study the course is up to you.
- Some students like to study each course individually, one after the other. If this is you, simply choose which course you would like to start with e.g. Grammar, click on the first video, and keep going until you reach the end!
- Other students like to study all three courses at the same time. I think this is a great option as you don’t get bored. The only golden rule is that you should never jump forward in a course. It’s OK to switch between courses, but always complete the lessons inside each course in the correct order.
I have created a plan for students who like to mix and match, which you can download here:
Do the practice activities!
Whichever way you choose to study, don’t forget that the practices activities are an important part of the course, and it is important that you complete them at the end of each lesson. You can find the link for the downloads on the right-hand side of the video player. Just click, download, complete – and then watch your score increase!
